Dashing Diva Sun Gloss Gel Nail Strips Change Colors in Direct Sunlight — Overview

I had been intrigued by the adorable novelty variable, so I chose to attempt Bottoms Up (pictured below), that can be a set composed of 22 bright crimson, eight sparkly pink-and-gold, and four bits together with color-changing hearts which move from enthusiast to red. That having been said, they are super easy to use. Los Angeles-based manicurist Holly Falcone recommends washing your hands, eliminating any old shine, then wiping your nails down with acetone. After that, find the ideal dimensions for every nail (flex them on the edge of your nails to be certain that the decal will cover the entire nail), press firmly, and document down to eliminate the surplus strip as necessary. 

Here is where I tell you a little hint. I have used Dashing Diva gel nail clippers before, but they’d constantly get stuck in my hair. A huge no-no. So to remedy for this particular round, I purchased a cuticle pusher to gently push the surplus skin back, after which I lined up the decals so there’s no distance between the bottom edge and my cuticles. In reality, they essentially go under my cuticles. 

It created a huge difference, and that I could eventually run my hands through my hair without snagging strands each 2 seconds. There are other tips for implementing nail wraps, such as adding a layer of top coat to seal at the decal, which help also.

And et voilà, this is the final product:

As you can see, I took the two photographs out, but the colour change just works in direct sun . So it does not work via a window . While my small hearts did not flip as bright red as the item packaging suggests, they turned into a beautiful pink. 

They figuratively fill up my heart (I know, cheesy) and brighten up my socially-distanced walks around the area. I have not been outdoors as far as I’d love to be, and such color-changing decals are a fantastic reminder to find some appropriate (and secure, as in wearing a mask) sunlight.

I detected slight peeling in the shirts round day five, in addition to some wrapped round the edges, but this might be a consequence of not applying a top coat (that I ran from ).
