Although most people stopped getting dressed up within the last few weeks of sheltering in place, we’re still taking the time to do our claws, even nail artist Miss Pop. “It’s the beauty I do for myself,” she states. “It may look to be a very small detail, but to me, it is exactly what I see myself daily. I truly look forward to painting them every week.”

Rather than choosing only 1 hue, she will occasionally coat each nail using a different color, and it has seen others have taken the exact same route. “Every one of my friends that felt bound to wear simple nudes and light pinks for their offices to look ‘professional’ are unexpectedly able to use whatever colour they need,” notes Miss Pop. So while working at home, they are finally looking for the rainbow appearance.

Within the last year, the appearance is now called the Skittles manicure (or gradient claws, should you adhere to a single color ). Ahead of the pandemic, Miss Pop produced a glowing variation for its M Missoni autumn 2020 demonstration back in February with blues, yellow, orange, pink, and crimson, that has been a favorite reference recently.

“To find this look in your home, all you need is five amazing polishes you adore,” she clarifies. However, if you’re wondering what the Specific colours she employed were, they are OPI’s Nail Lacquers at Mariachi Makes Your Day, Do not Tell a Sol, Telenovela Me About It, Mi Casa Es Blue Casa, Verde Nice to Meet You, also Hue is the Artist?.
