Rihanna Is Launching Fenty Skin on July 31 — News

Rihanna understands her lovers need new music. (She hears the end of this .) But she also knows her fans want more than just makeup from her Fenty Beauty brand. Well, there’s good news and there’s bad news. The bad news: There’s still no known release date for a new Rihanna album. The really, really, really good news: Rihanna is expanding the cosmetic category of her beauty empire by launching Fenty Skin — and there is a date for that.

Nearly 150,000 people have already found and followed the new, verified Fenty Skin Instagram account, which announces in its bio that it will be launching on July 31. Mere days away! One of the posts on the largely empty grid features a Twitter screenshot in Rihanna replies to a fan’s April tweet begging for Fenty skin care: “The wait is soon done sis. I got you! #FENTYSKIN”  

From the looks of a video posted on the new Instagram page, in which Rihanna herself is seen going through a skin-care routine, the collection with include — at the very least — a foaming cleanser, a toner or essence, and a moisturizer. 

Specific details are still under wraps for now, but future shoppers are invited to “stay tuned to see what we got comin’ and get early access to shop by signing up at fentyskincom.” There, by entering your email address or phone number, you’ll be able to check out the products a full two days early on July 29. 

One thing we know for sure: Rihanna doesn’t need anyone to think this collection isn’t to get them. The brand new Instagram account posted screenshots in which she makes it perfectly clear that Fenty Skin products aren’t meant for just women.

Fans are clearly excited about the new Fenty Beauty spinoff. “Rihanna is the only one making 2020 better,” one commenter wrote, while another said, “U have NO idea how much I’ve been waiting for this!!!” Inevitably, there are a few “Where’s the album?” comments, but at least we know our skin will be glowing by the time Rihanna drops it.
