While taking her award, Knowles committed it to people fighting and protesting against systemic racism and police brutality. “I wish to dedicate this award to all my brothers out there, most my sisters out there uplifting me, marching and fighting for change,” she explained. “Your voices have been heard, and you are demonstrating to our ancestors their struggles weren’t in vain. We have yet another thing we will need do to to walk in our authentic power, and that’s to vote. I am inviting you to continue to do it, continue to modify and dismantle a racist and unequal system. We must continue to get this done together.”

Beyoncé has partnered with UNICEF to make “BeyGood 4 Burundi,” a fresh water initiative in East Africa, and has established the #IDIDMYPART initiative together with her mother Tina Knowles, to promote Houston occupants to get examined for COVID-19.
