Gwen Stefani Offers Blake Shelton Haircut Throughout Interview With Jimmy Fallon — Video

Almost a month after announcing his girlfriend, Gwen Stefani, could be helping him in developing his hair out to the mullet he proudly wore at the ’90therefore, Blake Shelton encouraged Jimmy Fallon and his Tonight Show viewers to observe the ongoing reshaping of his hairstyle. And it is safe to state Stefani went beyond just carrying a bit off the sides.

Approximately three minutes into a meeting between Fallon and Shelton on Tuesday, April 14, Stefani shows on the porch having a clipper, stating, “I am gonna be assisting Blake develop his mullet.” She explains that they’d planned on cutting off his hair daily — although not the trunk, clearly, taking into consideration the aim is really a mullet — so why don’t do it to get the whole Tonight Show-seeing world to watch?

“I really like watching Gwen cut your own hair,” Fallon says giddily since Stefani begins in on the sides of Shelton’s head. “That is superb.”

Fallon retains interviewing Shelton and Stefani on other subjects like country music and The Voice since Stefani continues operating on Shelton’s hair. At one stage she utilizes a pink, wide-tooth comb for a shield to buzz the ends off, hair falling on his shirt along with the porch.

Stefani successfully shortens the sides, raising the business-up-front-party-in-the-back vibe so slightly. But just following Fallon informs Shelton he seems punk, talking about the way his hair is sticking up at the top, Shelton asks that Stefani shave the letters F and J to the sides.

“I am literally placing your initials in my head at the moment, Jimmy. I’m not kidding,” Shelton states as Stefani does her very best. “She simply said they’re not showing up very well because of the gray.”

“Oh, no, that looks terrible,” Stefani says, not quite admiring her work.

As Shelton gets close to the camera to show Fallon her work, the host exclaims, “Dude, you are so Tiger King right now, you have no idea.”

As much as we all wish that isolation will be over soon, we can’t help but hope Shelton will continue growing out his mullet with Stefani’s help long after they are stuck at home. This haircut deserves to shine in public.
