I am going to be reunited with my very first favourite beauty product: Lancôme Juicy Tubes. Back in 2008, small 13-year old me goes to Macy’s with my mother on Saturdays so that she could pick her up cherished $200 worth sets in the Lancôme counter for $45. The salesperson would wind virtually every trade with “you are eligible for a free gift with your purchase.” My eyes would light up, and my fingers would be crossed behind my back, hoping the gift was a Lancôme Juicy Tubes lip gloss.

And that’s how beauty editor Angela was born. You see, I wasn’t always as into makeup as I am now. At my middle school, the Lancome Juicy Tubes Ultra Shining Hydrating Lip Gloss was a staple in every girl’s backpack, though. Other shades include creamsicle, baby pink in a cream finish, pure, a clear gloss in the jelly finish, and grape-arcade a vibrant purple in the orginal sparkle and shimmer finish.
